Thank YOU!

Thanks to so many posts and requests from YOU, the audience, the soundtrack for Godless will be released on July 6th!

It has been over six months since Netflix premiered Godless – and for a very long while, I was certain the soundtrack was not going to have a release.  But the show’s popularity, along with YOUR demand has helped make this a reality.  I have taken the time to curate the soundtrack score to include as much of the three and a half hours of music written.

The soundtrack begins with the Main Theme for the show, and ends with the final scene (featuring Megan Chartier’s gorgeous cello playing) where both story and the Main Theme are resolved.

And as much as these days are very me-focused through press, it was most certainly a team effort.  The score would not have been as it turned out if it weren’t for the source music/original songs and inspiration from T Bone Burnett, the amazing cello and musicianship of Joy Adams, the additional music by David Stal, the music editing of Tom Kramer, the orchestrations from Jeremy Levy and his amazing team of Jordan Seigel, Bobby Brader, Lorenzo Carrano, and Sarah Lutz, music prep by Mark Cally, the fantastic playing of the Budapest Art Orchestra, and mixing of Lawrence Manchester.

And that is just the music!

Please share the link below, which includes the Netflix/BMG Press release, along with the videos where I explain some of the process of scoring Godless.

I will be sharing the Track Listing as soon as BMG makes it available.

Again a big thanks!

This is such a great score but it seems to be available only in lossy formats on Amazon MP3 and iTunes. Will it get a release on CD or at least digital lossless formats like FLAC?
